Rhythmical breathing: 4:8 followed by a breathhold. Length: 11:17
Contraindications to holding your breath:
- Severe/critical diseases or infections that impair your ability to breathe
- Severe uncontrolled hypertension (usually after a heart attack)
- Organ failure or late-stage terminal illness
- Pregnancy
- Epilepsy,
- Pacemaker, or irregular heartbeat
Tinnitus and hernias may be aggravated by forceful mouth breathing, and prolonged breath holds – so do not hold your breath beyond your control zone.
